360 Productions & The Centre for Women’s Studies in Education (CWSE) are looking for actresses from ages 18-80 for a staging of Eve Ensler’s critically acclaimed play, The Vagina Monologues. This charity fundraiser will be staged as part of the centennial International Women’s Day celebrations presented by CWSE at OISE, University of Toronto on March 8, 2011.

Directed by the award-winning and pr...ovocative Dr Loretta Chen (251, Victor/Victoria), the play will be produced by Jennifer Phillips (Salt, X-Men, 300) with multi-media installations by film-maker Chia Meng Koo (Man in a Snow Globe, NDP 2010). The soundtrack will be composed by internationally acclaimed maestro, Iskandar Ismail.

We are looking for a diverse range of women regardless of age, size, height, race, sexuality, or language to fill a myriad of roles. In addition, we also welcome group auditions. So, if you are part of a choir, dance ensemble, or artist collective, we would like to meet you too. As long as you identify with being female, we want YOU! Experience is preferred but Passion is a Must!

Auditions will be held at the Centre for Women’s Studies in Education, room 2-227, 252 Bloor St W (above the St George subway), Toronto.

Two dates:
Thursday, February 10, 9am—11am, or
Friday, February 11, 1pm—3pm

Interested applicants, please contact Jamie Ryckman at to arrange a time for your audition.

Please come with a monologue of your choice (not necessarily from The Vagina Monologues), or a song (if you wish) or any other skill/expertise you wish to share. Please bring your resume and dress comfortably.

Whether you are a Man from Mars or Woman from Venus, join us in this Earth-shattering, no-holds barred theatrical experience! Make this your mandatory night out this March 8, 2011 as we celebrate all things wild, wonderful and women!
