  1. I went to this open mic/ town hall meeting, it was weird, lots of old film makers, authors, music producers and television folks talking about how they can't afford to live in this economy and how good it used to be ie. buy a house and car from work in the arts.

    A younger artist (my age) asked why there was no food at this event- she was hungry from walking to this event and not having any food.
    The older folks didn't know what to say and no one took her request seriously.
    The split of the have/have nots in the arts via generational differences was pretty freakin clear. Pre-concervatives good times post bad times- cut and dried.
